It will please you to know that, while enjoying the unspoilt, peaceful beauty of the Granada region, you will still be able to sneak off for that all important round of golf. And no need to haul yourself all the way down to the crowded Costas either. We have 3 stunning courses right here in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada, two of them brand new facilities of championship quality. Having spent millions developing these spectacular new facilities, you would imagine that they(the Spanish)would be only too keen to promote and market them. Unfortunately, they take a different view. One course has yet to produce a working website and the English translation tool isn't working on another. Having said that, we have played these courses personally and can vouch for their top quality and stunning settings.
Santa Clara Golf, is a top quality newly opened par 72 course, nestled right under the peaks of the Sierra Nevada, just 10mins to the South East of the city. At 6598 meters this is a monster, highlighted by the never-ending par5 3rd at 550 meters. Good luck!
Medina Elvira Golf, is another newly opened par 72 course, sculpted out of a lovely valley with many water features, only 15mins to the North west of the city. It’s cracking course in a beautiful setting.

Granada Club de Golf, also known as Las Gabias, a slightly more forgiving par 71 course, is the elder statesman of the region. Unfortunately the English translation tool is not working. A well established course, it also offers lovely views of the surrounding countryside and the Sierra Nevada and includes a nightmare long, downhill, crosswind par 3 as it‘s feature hole. Only 8km from the city, again it’s just a short drive away.
